TB Joshua is a famous Nigerian charismatic pastor, evangelist and philanthropist, born on June 12, 1963, in Arigidi Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. His parents, Folarin Balogun (mother) and Kolawole Balogun (father) named him Temitope Balogun Joshua.
As his parents’ only child, he was educated at school St. Anglican Primary School Stephen. Despite dropping out of high school after just one year, TB Joshua, a well-educated individual, initially pursued a career as a Yoruba to English translator. However, his path changed when he started working at a chicken farm.
Career
In 1987, TB Joshua founded Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), quickly grew into a major religious organization attracting followers from different parts of Africa and beyond. His influence reached new heights with the introduction Emmanuel TVa channel that broadcasts SCOAN services and “Miraculous crusade” to a global audience.

Joshua is famous for his remarkable performances of healings and miracles during ceremonies, attracting both devoted followers and skeptical critics. A comprehensive two-year investigative report by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has made serious allegations against the deceased founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Temitope Balogun , widely known as TB Joshua. The report alleges atrocities, including rape, torture and fabrications of miraculous cures.
Based on the testimony of five British people spanning nearly two decades, the report asserts that TB Joshua committed rape and forced followers to have forced abortions in a hidden compound in Lagos. In addition, the late evangelist was accused of orchestrating fraudulent “miraculous healings” that were disseminated to millions of people worldwide.
