Early life and education
TBO Touch, a famous South African media personality, was born in Sharpeville, South Africa, on 4 April 1981. He was raised by his paternal grandparents, who played a major role in his upbringing.
At the age of 15, he made the important decision to move to Syracuse, New York, United States. There, he was adopted by Robert Bishop and Majorie Jones, who considered him one of their own. In 2004, fate smiled on TBO Touch when he had a chance meeting with Metro FM station manager Lesley Ntloko. During the meeting, he was invited to be the new host of Metro FM Live in New York City, marking the beginning of his illustrious radio career. TBO Touch was then entrusted with the global programming of “Metro FM Live”, and in 2005, he was given the green light to host the three-hour Rhyme and Reason show.
He was a mainstay at Touch Central and Metro FM and went on to host the Metro FM Awards for two consecutive years in 2006. Notably, he was the first presenter in South Africa to host four separate television shows, including two live shows. TBO Touch also won the coveted Best Presenter award at the 2009 Metro FM Awards.
In 2019, TBO Touch took on the role of CEO at Soweto TV and took on the role of presenter on the popular SABC3 magazine Flash! He also ventured into the gin business and produced a unique blend called 48gin, which he has been working on for over thirteen months.

In 2014, Tbo Touch found love again and got engaged to Nandi Molefe, a model and owner of a public relations firm. They were due to exchange vows in 2015, but unfortunately circumstances got in the way of their marriage. It was reported that conflicts led to the cancellation of the ceremony.
