“Tekken 8” live-action trailer
The Tekken 8 live-action trailer was released during a live broadcast by Bandai Namco, which promoted the first chapter of the story mode, Dark Awakening. The official demo has been released for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The trailer focuses on Jin’s Kazama uniting with his mother Jun and trying to use his powers to do good. The trailer revealed many confirmed characters such as Kazuya, Jin, Paul, King, Law, Lars, Jack-8 and Jun Kazama.
In the trailer, Jin Kazama is stripped of his powers, while Kazuya Mishima looks more powerful than before, and the conflict between the two continues. As the storyline expands into “Dark Awakening,” the battle between the Kazama family and the Mishima family intensifies.
Jin Kazama is one of the most powerful playable characters in the game. In the trailer, the background of the fight stage depicts a city that resembles New York’s Times Square. The graphics shown in the trailer appear modern and realistic compared to the main film.
Tekken 8 is shaping up to be one of the best games in the series. In addition to weekly character trailers (one of which is Yoshimitsu’s trailer this week), Tekken fans can also get a sneak peek at the game’s storyline showcasing the game’s narrative.

Tekken 8 gameplay
Tekken 8 will focus on competitive gameplay and reward proactive players. A new feature called “Heat” is rolling out, which will give players massive damage, movement, and character-changing abilities like heavy guard breaches. The timer for the hot state can be stopped if a warrior action is used.
Warriors will take chip damage when defending against a normal critical hit or a character in a hot state, causing the health bar to regenerate. However, a warrior’s health can only be restored by attacking opponents. Additionally, the rage system from previous Tekken entries returns to Tekken 8. For example, Rage Drive has been redesigned as Heat Smash, a “heat” system move.
