Tekken 8
“Tekken 8” was released on January 26, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S. It is the eighth entry in the popular “Tekken” series. The game’s story, titled “Dark Awakening,” takes place six months after the previous game and focuses on the intense conflict between Mishima Kazuya and Kazama Jin’s father and son.

“Tekken 8” has 32 characters and introduces new mechanics such as the “Heat” system and the “Tornado” popular game. Online modes include Arcade Quest, offering tournaments, customizable avatars, and special in-game currency. Tekken 8 development
The development journey of “Tekken 8” began with a trailer at EVO 2022 and was officially announced at the Sony State of Play on September 13, 2022. The game will be released on PlayStation 5, Windows (via Steam) and Xbox Series X/S, continuing the Kazuya and Jin saga from Tekken 7. Arika is responsible for ongoing development, including rollback netcode following the 2022 Tekken World Cup finals.
