Early life
There is not too much information about Teni’s youth, but it is known that the female singer was born on December 12, 1992.
She was born in the southwestern region of Nigeria, Lagos state. She was born into the family of Mr. (late) and Mrs. Simeon Apata.
Her father, Simeon Apata, is believed to have been murdered in cold blood by several unknown gunmen in early January 1995.
She has a sibling named Niniola who is also a singer and songwriter.
Education
Teni spent many years pursuing her elementary and secondary education at Apata Memorial High School; a school owned by her late father.
After obtaining her first school life certificate and the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), she went on to study at the American Intercontinental University in the United States for a degree in Business Administration.
Career
Teni started her music career and was signed up by Magic Finger Records, owned by Shizzi; Top manufacturer of 2016
After that, she signed a contract with Dr. Dolor Entertainment Records in 2017 where she worked with several artists on the label where she became a popular artist.
Teni started by freely creating her music on INSTAGRAM. The hit single Fargin brought her to fame as the song was widely accepted and loved by music lovers.

Teni wrote a song for the founder of DMW and has also released a large number of great, great songs like; Billionaire, Wait, Askamaya in 2018, Supergirl, Sugar Mummy in 2019 and so many others.
Personal life
Teni revealed her relationship status in a recent interview. Confirming that she only has one lover, MUSIC. She shows optimism and wishes to start a family of her own in the future.
