Early life
Not much is known about Teni’s early life but it is known that the singer was born on December 12, 1992.
She was born in the southwestern part of Nigeria, Lagos state. She was born to Mr. (deceased) and Mrs. Simeon Apata.
Her father, Simeon Apata, was allegedly brutally murdered in early January 1995 by several unidentified gunmen.

She has a sibling named Niniola, who is also a singer and songwriter.
Education
Teni spent her elementary and secondary school years at Apata Memorial High School; a school owned by her late father.
After obtaining her first school certificate and the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), she went on to study at the Intercontinental University in the United States to obtain a degree in Business Administration.
Career
Teni started her music career and was signed by Magic Finger Records, owned by Shizzi; a leading music producer in 2016.
She then signed with the record label Dr. Dolor Entertainment in 2017, where she worked with several artists on the label and became a supporting actress.
Teni started by freelancing her music on INSTAGRAM. Her hit single Fargin brought her to the limelight as the song was accepted and loved by many music lovers.

Teni has composed a song for the founder of DMW and has also released a huge number of great, amazing songs like; Billionaire, Wait, Askamaya in 2018, Super Woman, Sugar Mummy in 2019 and many more.
Personal life
Teni revealed her relationship status in a recent interview. Confirming that she only has one lover, MUSIC. She hinted at optimism and a desire to start a family of her own at some point in the future.
