early life
Terry was born in Ifako-Ijaye Local Government Area of Lagos, Commercial State, Nigeria on May 27, 1999. He is the eldest of four children.
However, nothing is known about his parents. Terry is originally from Edo State but he was born and raised in Lagos.

Born in Lagos, Terry received most of his early education there. He was accepted into the University of Lagos to study marine insurance but later dropped out to pursue music.

Terri caught the attention of Nigerian pop singer Wizkid after she covered a song for Wizkid and DJ Jimmy Jatt’s Oshe.
In February 2018, at the age of 18, Terry signed with Starboy Entertainment, one of Nigeria’s leading record labels.
Terri tried several times to start his music career before being noticed by Wizkid.
He began working under the name Stoned Teezy, recording songs in the studio with his saved lunch money, but his music career didn’t begin to take shape until 2016, when he released the single “Where the Party At,” featuring Fresh and Remy Martins.
He came into the limelight when he sang the song “Soco” written by Wizkid, which was written and released by two others under Starboy Entertainment.
He released his first official single titled “Bia” under the Starboy Entertainment record label in September 2018. After the release of “Soco” and “Shuu”, he gained more listeners.
