Teamfight Tactics, commonly known as Teamfight Tactics (TFT), is a strategy game produced by Riot Games. It’s like a special game mode from League of Legends. In Teamfight Tactics, you can play against seven other players online. Your goal is to build a strong team and outperform others. Think of it as a battle of wits and strategy.
You and your opponent pick the champion and place it on the board. These champions fight automatically, so you can’t control them directly. You need to choose wisely which heroes and how to arrange them. TFT launched as part of League of Legends in June 2019, but it became so popular that it got its own game.
You can play on your computer (Windows and macOS) or even your phone (Android and iOS). The cool thing is that no matter where you play, you can still compete with friends on different devices.

Teamfight Tactics gameplay
In Teamfight Tactics (TFT), the game focuses on eight players competing for the last spot. Each player creates a team of champions and places them on a hexagonal battlefield. These champions automatically battle each other during rounds, against other players or computer-controlled enemies. Losing a round means losing some health, depending on the round’s set damage and the number of units remaining.
The game is divided into several stages, and each stage has several rounds. In each stage, there is a special round called the “Carousel” where players can use random items to choose a champion. The player with the lowest health points chooses first. At the end of each stage, players face computer-controlled enemies.
You earn coins during your rounds, which you can save to earn interest and increase your income. You can spend gold to re-roll champions available in the store, or upgrade your character to place more units on the board. Champions have health and mana. They take damage, gain mana and use unique abilities. Create synergies by placing heroes with the same traits together, which can strengthen your team, weaken your opponents, or provide other benefits.
