The best longbow build in MW3
Use the longbow’s powerful combination of high damage and rapid fire rate to overwhelm opponents from afar. While not a one-hit kill at long range, it performs well in duels, delivering two quick chest shots or a headshot to effectively eliminate enemies. Enhance the longbow’s early dueling capabilities with the following attachments and class settings:
- Barrel: Pro-99 long barrel
- Ammunition: high grain
- Rear grip: Chorus GEN4
- Bolt: SA-M quick bolt
- Stock: KV factory stock
- Vest: Infantry
- Gloves: Shooter
- Boots: running shoes
- Equipment: Ghost T/V camouflage
- Deadly: Broadsword/Proximity Mine
In traditional sniper game style, position yourself in strategic locations with clear lines of sight. Take advantage of the flinch resistance of the Chorus GEN4 Grips and Shooting Gloves to defeat opponents who try to counterattack. Keep in mind that the longbow has limited one-hit kill range when hitting the body, and requires precise aiming for best results compared to other sniper rifles.

MW3 Longbow Quickscope Build
Downtube: DR-6 handle
- Equip the DR-6 Handstop as an under-barrel attachment for enhanced control and maneuverability.
Magazine: 10 rounds magazine
- Opt for a 10-round magazine to increase ammunition capacity and ensure continuous shooting during engagements.
Ammunition: high grain
- Choose high-grain ammo to take full advantage of the weapon’s short OHK potential and maximize damage output.
Stock: Not in stock
- Remove the stock to increase ADS speed for more aggressive and run-and-gun playstyles.
Rear Grip: Demo 650 Grip
- Installing the Demo 650 grip enhances weapon control and reduces recoil in rapid firing situations.
Vest: Infantry
- Choose an infantry vest for added protection, balancing mobility and survivability.
Gloves: Assault
- Equipping Assault Gloves can further improve agility and responsiveness during ADS movement.
Boots: Stalker
- Choose Stalker boots to enhance your overall mobility, making it easier to move quickly in combat.
Equipment: any
- The choice of additional equipment is flexible, allowing players to customize their equipment to their personal preference.
Aim Down (ADS):
- Experience a snappy and responsive feel when aiming with this attachment setup, making it ideal for running and shooting.
Mid- to long-term considerations:
- Acknowledging that mid- to long-range capabilities will naturally be compromised due to the removal of inventories. However, with patient aim, achieving cheeky headshots from a distance is still possible.
OHK range reminder:
- To reiterate, the longbow’s OHK range is very short and specific to hitting the head and torso. When aiming at the torso, expect a white hit mark because the bullet is likely to hit the target’s arm rather than the chest.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3
“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III” is a first-person shooter developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision Blizzard. This game is the twentieth game in the “Call of Duty” series and the third game in the rebooted “Modern Warfare” sub-series, following the events of 2022’s “Modern Warfare II”.
The game was released on November 10, 2023 on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. “Modern Warfare III” retains the realistic and contemporary setting of the previous game and continues the overall narrative of the series.
The storyline revolves around the multinational Special Operations Forces Task Force 141 as they hunt down Vladimir Makarov, a Russian ultranationalist and terrorist who plans to incite World War III. The multiplayer portion of the game features remastered versions of all 16 base maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, with additional maps being prepared for post-launch updates.
“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” gameplay
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III offers similar gameplay to its predecessor, Modern Warfare II, and the broader Call of Duty series. It retains features such as slide to cancel, and introduces “open combat missions” in the campaign, allowing players to approach targets more freely.
In multiplayer mode, all 16 maps of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be accessible at launch. Players can vote for maps in the matchmaking lobby, a feature returning after being omitted from some recent games. The game also increases the player’s health, thereby extending the “time to kill” (TTK).
The “red dot” minimap, which was not present in Modern Warfare 2019, is back with a vengeance, showing the location of enemies when they fire unsuppressed weapons. Classic game modes like Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint are back, along with a new mode called Cutthroat. Ground War and War modes return with dedicated maps, and AI-driven moderation can identify and report toxic behavior. More than a dozen new multiplayer maps will be released at launch.
A highlight is the novel open-world PvE Zombies mode developed in partnership between Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games. Unlike traditional turn-based Zombies, it follows a DMZ mode structure, with up to 24 players forming squads to battle zombies and AI-controlled human enemies to complete objectives, collect loot, and extract items. The mode introduces “zones” instead of rounds, with escalating difficulty levels. Aetherstorms and narrative-driven story missions add depth to the experience.
