The singer posted a letter from his wife Chloe on October 30, in which he shared that a car crashed through the window of his Chicago tea shop Madame Zuzu, nearly killing their son. love.

“Important announcement about Madame Zuzu! Thank you for your support and understanding,” he captioned the post before the lengthy message.

“This afternoon at Mrs. Zuzu’s house, a car (under circumstances still under investigation) went over the curb and into Mrs. Zuzu’s house and injured one person – my mother, Jenny, who had spent the day and lunch with my son, Augustus,” Chloe shared in the note.

“Luckily, he was able to jump out of the way and was not injured,” she added.

Corgan and Chloe went on to thank first responders in Highland Park and Deerfield for their help, and she noted that the store will be closed until further notice. The first location of Madame ZuZu’s opened in 2020.

Corgan and Chloe have three children together, son Augustus, 8, and daughter Philomena, 5. They also have a baby on the way. In August, the couple shared that they were expecting another bundle of joy.
