A man decided to leave his wife after she kissed Romeo Santos on stage.
According to reports from Daily mailMiriam Cruz ran on stage while the group Aventura was performing on December 28. She was invited up on stage and took the time to kiss the group’s leader, Santos.
Fan-recorded footage of the event has now leaked online and shows the moment Cruz took the stage to meet the band members. However, when she approached the lead singer, she couldn’t help but hug and kiss him. Despite her actions, she remained on stage while the group performed their next song.
Daily mail reported that after the event, Cruz made a since-deleted social media post revealing that those actions had cost her her marriage.
“I must admit that this achievement came at a very high cost: the breakup of my 10-year marriage,” the post read.
She further explained by way of expulsion that she kissed Santos because she was “carried away by anxiety and emotions without considering how this might affect my family.”
She told her ex: “From the bottom of my heart, I am so sorry. I never intended to hurt you.” “I just hope that, even though we are separated, we can maintain peace and unity for the sake of our children.”
Since the incident, Cruz has revealed that she has “overcome deep sadness” but that she fully respects her ex’s decision to divorce. However, she remains optimistic about fulfilling this “long-awaited dream.”
