Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers had a scary experience during their recent concert in Prague.
The youngest member of the former teen idol was forced to leave suddenly while on stage with brothers Kevin and Joe because someone was aiming a laser beam at him.
A video recently streamed online captured the moment during a concert during their global tour where Nick was suddenly targeted by an audience member with a red dot. It was later discovered that it was a laser and it continued to track Nick’s movements, triggering the alarm and causing them to make a hasty retreat.
The owner of the hit “Jealous” immediately left the stage, while the brothers stayed to continue performing while dealing with the sudden interruption. Nick also signaled the security guard before fleeing the scene together.
After the unexpected incident, the Jonas Brothers paused the performance for a moment but then continued the show.
Security forces quickly escorted this person out of the location.
Social media users are very angry about the incident.
One commenter on @jonasdailynews on Instagram said: “Why are people like this!!!?!?!?”
“Absolutely scary ๐ I’m glad he’s okay,” a second person wrote, while another said, “They have danger signs. That’s so smart.”
A fourth wrote, “Everyone took videos of Nick running as he tried to stop the show. Glad they’re okay!! Everyone okay? What’s wrong with them.”
โThis is so scary,โ said a fifth.

On X, @ TRICONGA4LIFE wrote, “I can’t blame him, I would have had the same reaction you never knew.”
According to @HeffronMitchie, “Whoever pointed a laser pointer or anything at Nick in the middle of a show deserves to go to jail. He looked extremely scared. I can’t imagine everyone else in that venue How will it feel to see him running, security and everything else.” . That’s scary.”
While the harmless laser caused a moment of panic, the unfortunate history of terrorist attacks at music events became rife.
One such tragic event happened during Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester, UK in 2017, when the venue was targeted by terrorists.
