Love is in the air School of rock music co-stars Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli, as the couple officially tied the knot.
Although they first appeared on the show 22 years ago in 2003 as the characters Marta and Frankie, they didn’t officially develop a relationship until more than a decade later in 2016. Now Here, they took their relationship to the next level and got married.
According to New York Timesthe couple married at Park Château Estate & Gardens in New York City. In photos from the event, Hale wore a stunning strapless white dress and her groom looked dapper in an all-black suit.
At the wedding, the cast of the hit movie reunited to share their love. Guests included co-stars Rivkah Reyes, Brian Falduto, Joey Gaydos Jr., Rivkah Reyesm Robert Tsai, Maryam Hassan, Aleisha Allen and Cole Hawkins.
The couple went public with their romance in 2021 and announced that they were engaged in October 2024.
Massagli spoke to Inside Edition about their romance and the moment he first saw his future wife during filming of the film.
“I walked in there and the little blonde girl next to me, she was called in first and she started singing show tunes and blew the roof off the place. It was amazing,” he said .
Both actors have retired from the entertainment industry and pursued careers in many different industries. Before retiring from acting, Massagli starred in the hit film Sopranos where he played Bobby Jr. However, he decided to pursue a career in law after studying English with a major in Business & Law at Northeastern University.
Hale also retired from acting and completed a journalism degree before moving to work in the medical field.
School of rock music was an instant success upon release. The film grossed $131 million against a budget of $35 million and starred Jack Black alongside Miranda Cosgrove.
Although a sequel has been talked about since 2008, nothing is clear at this point.
