The Sims 4
The Sims 4 is a popular social simulation game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the fourth major entry in The Sims series, originally released for Windows in 2014, followed by a Mac version in 2015, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions in 2017.
In 2022, it transitioned to a free-to-play model, supported by paid downloadable content packs. Players create and manage virtual characters called “Sims,” design their homes, and simulate their lives. The game initially received mixed reviews, but has become very successful with constant updates and expansions that have added new features and content.
