Early life

Jordan Ross Belfort was born to Jewish parents Max Belfort (father) and Leah Belfort (mother). He was born on July 9, 1962 in the Bronx, New York City.

His parents were accountants and they raised him middle class. He spent his adult years residing in Bay Side, Queens. He has an older brother, Robert Belfort.
