Bodie On The Voice

During the audition round of VoiceBodie performed You Find Me by The War. The first coach to turn his chair was Blake Shelton, followed by John Legend. His voice won over Gwen Stefani. And the last one to turn his chair was Camila Cabello. But, the first one to turn his chair, that is, Blake, ended up being the one Bodie chose as his coach, which surprised him, even to himself.

“When I started, I was sure I would choose Gwen or Camila,” Bodie said. Parade in this exclusive interview. “I was very strategic about everything I did on the show, including choosing my coaches. And I’m a big fan of Gwen. I knew that she would understand my weird, unique style of music, but also how I wanted to dress, how I wanted to act, and all of that. I just felt like she would understand me the best.”

“The reason Blake was, in short, what he told me,” Bodie explained. “Some of it aired, some of it was edited, but I could tell he had a vision for me. I knew that if I picked him and worked with him and I worked hard, I could feel that he would believe in me and continue to support me. And I’m so glad I picked him because he’s shown me time and time again that he believes in me and picked me to win.”

The company is a full-service content creation agency specializing in storytelling and promotional content for your business. She has also worked as the director of media services at Together Creative since January 2017.
