R. Kelly isn’t currently making music, but that hasn’t stopped some fans from using AI to generate new music from the singer.
Several AI-generated versions of Kelly’s fake songs have gone viral on Twitter. The first one is called “Second Chance” while the other is called “My Soul Screams”.
In “Second Chance,” the fake version of Kelly sings: “Every tear I’ve shed, every bridge I’ve burned / Begging for mercy / for Grace on Earth.” As for “My Soul Cries Out”, there is an accompanying AI-generated video for the project.
“Whispers stretch through the night / Echoes of choices dim my light / Lost in the darkness, my mind is a maze / Running from silence through endless fog, ” imitation singing version.
Many people on social media criticized the song and said it didn’t sound like Kelly at all.

While AI may be taking over aspects of music, there are many who have objected to its place in the music industry. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has previously commented that AI will make music “lifeless” even if it is “interesting.”
Other musicians such as Radiohead and Robert Smith have signed an open letter opposing the use of AI in the music industry.
This isn’t the first time Kelly has sparked a debate on social media. Previously, many people debated a tweet that said, “There is no better writer in the history of American music than R.Kelly.”
However, many people clapped back at the allegations and listed many other musicians including Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey Bob Dylan, etc.
Kelly is currently in prison for crimes related to child pornography and soliciting children for sex and he is serving a 20-year prison sentence. However, Kelly also faces charges in a separate state for sex trafficking and fraud. Under those circumstances, he would have spent 30 years in prison.
The last album of the singer was 2016 12 Christmas Eve and he previously released buffet party in 2015. Neither reached the commercial heights of his previous work.
