early life
TI Blaze was born on February 16, 2000. He was born in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Akintunde. Eight days after his birth, a naming ceremony was held for him and he was named: Timileyin Abiodun Akintunde.
He was born and raised in Ogun State. Coming from a poor background, he witnessed first-hand the difficulties faced by low- and middle-income families in Nigeria. His background later influenced the style of music he later created.
Music started out as a way for TI Blaze to showcase his passion and express the challenges he often faced. He began writing freestyle songs for his close friends and classmates to enjoy. As he got older, his passion for the art grew.
Inspired by the success of other street pop singers like Olamide, Lil Kesh and Chinko Ekun, he aspired to become a superstar, so he improved his rapping, songwriting and singing skills to become a better musician.

TI Blaze moved to Lagos from Ogun State to start his music career. He started by composing many street hits and recording them in a studio near his home.
He sang some of these songs at events and music shows. He also participated in different music competitions to showcase his talent to the world. By doing so, TI Blaze was able to build a name for himself in the underground music scene in Lagos.
The talented artist shot to fame overnight when one of his singles went viral on the internet and music-loving Nigerians began streaming and downloading the song. In just a few days, the single was streamed millions of times on digital music channels.
With his first big hit on his hands, TI Blaze seized the opportunity to become famous. In the following months, he released several hit singles such as “Zero Joy”, “U Are The One”, “Feelings”, “Oba”, “Sometimes”, “Vibez”, “Ballers Anthem”, “Good Life”, “Tomiwa” and “Nobody Cares”.
In 2021, TI Blaze released his debut EP titled The Fresh Prince Of Lagos. The project features hits such as Oba, Gbedu, Try and Basic. Since its release, the EP has topped several street music and African music charts.
TI Blaze released a remix of Sometimes (featuring Olamide) in February 2022. He released the video for the popular single Try in March 2022.
TI Blaze has collaborated with many musicians such as Barry Jhay, Blxckie, Rasaqi NFG, Seyi Vibez, Goldenson and Rexxie.
TI Blaze was a featured artist on Pa Brymo’s hit song Overload (Kala). He was also a featured artist on Salle’s single Soul.
