Ticket prices for Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” show at Wembley Stadium have soared by nearly 2,000% as fans rush to buy tickets for the highly anticipated concert.

Swift will perform at the London Stadium from August 15 to 20, playing to 90,000 fans each night.

After the cancellation of her “Eras Tour” shows in Vienna, ticket prices for Swift’s London show skyrocketed on secondary market platforms such as Viagogo, Vividseats, StubHub and Gigsberg, the Daily Mail reported, citing data from Coinpoker.com.

When it first launched, ticket prices ranged from £58 ($74) for a restricted view seat to £110 ($140) for a general admission seat.

Standing tickets can now be found on resale sites for as much as £6,515 ($8,312), while the cheapest is £416 ($530).

Swift was forced to cancel three scheduled concerts in Vienna, Austria earlier this week due to a foiled ISIS-linked terrorist attack plot.

In a statement on Instagram, Austrian concert promoter Barracuda Music wrote, “The ‘Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour’ concert in Vienna has been canceled due to government officials confirming a planned terrorist attack.”

“After government officials confirmed a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we had no choice but to cancel three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety,” the company added.

In a recent interview with The Mirror, Jane Owen, a public relations expert, opened up about Swift’s situation and talked about the importance of crisis management for celebrities.

Owen emphasizes the need for a strategic approach to managing image and public relations, especially when faced with potential crises. Her insights shed light on the complex nature of celebrity reputation management and the delicate balance involved in protecting high-profile relationships in the public eye.
