early life
Before changing his name in 2016, Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi was known as Toyin Aimakhu.
She was born in Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria but received her early education in Southwestern Nigeria.
Toyin Abraham grew up in the ancient city of Ibadan in Oyo State, among the Yoruba-speaking inhabitants of the area. Her passion for acting was born from her love for traditional dramas that were being broadcast on local television at the time.
Although her guardians stressed that she should go to school and get a white-collar job, she was able to attend school while occasionally auditioning for movies.
She is good at observing situations and handling problems effectively, which has won the love of many childhood friends.
