Toyin Ojora-Saraki was born on September 6, 1964 in Lagos, Nigeria, into the famous royal families of Ojora and Adere of Lagos. Her father is Oloye Adekunle Ojora, an Otunba of Lagos, and her mother is Erelu Oodua Iyaloye Ojuolape Ojora (née Akinfe). Toyin has two brothers, Yinka Ojora and Dapo Ojora.

She received her primary education at Holy Saviour School and Holy Child College in Ikoyi, Lagos. She then went to the United Kingdom and attended Roding School in Brighton.
