Travis Scott surpasses Drake in rap tour ticket sales with success of ‘Circus Maximus’

Travis Scott’s “Circus Maximum” tour has reached a notable milestone by selling more than 1.5 million tickets, setting a new benchmark for rap tour attendance.

Drake’s 2023 “It’s All A Blur” tour previously held the title and ended earlier this year.

Recent data revealed that the “Circus Maximus” tour has emerged as the biggest rap tour of the past two years, according to Complex.

It is also estimated that the “goosebumps” hitmaker has surpassed the $100 million mark.

The tour continues to draw crowds, and HipHopAllDay predicts that the “SICKO MODE” rapper will soon join the ranks of rap heavyweights like Drake, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent by raking in more than $100 million for a tour.

Meanwhile, despite the success of his two Sydney shows, there are still reports of chaos at his shows.

At the 17 October show at Allianz Stadium in Sydney, an incident occurred when a concertgoer was reported to have lost consciousness after being strangled and thrown to the ground by someone in the crowd.

There were several other disturbances, including fights between fans, water bottles thrown at police and metal barriers being dismantled. Some attendees were denied entry, while others were disqualified for causing disruption.

Some concert-goers were denied entry, while others were ejected for disruptive behavior, although no serious injuries were reported.

Ahead of the shows on October 22 and 23, Marvel Stadium representatives announced that additional security measures have been put in place for the upcoming events.

“There was an incredible level of energy and enthusiasm for last night’s show. While the majority of the 55,000 strong crowd acted accordingly, there were some who did not.”

The “UTOPIA” hitmaker, known for his energetic performances, has built a reputation for his energetic concerts with mosh pits that can sometimes get out of control. He faces wrongful death lawsuits stemming from the tragic events at his 2021 Astroworld Festival in Houston, where 10 people died and hundreds were injured in a stampede.
