Troy Matthew Deeney, born on June 29, 1988 in Birmingham, England, is an English professional football player. His parents were Paul Anthony Burke and Emma Deeney, and he had two younger brothers: Ellis Deeney and Lewis Deeney.
Ellis Deeney is also a footballer who has played for teams such as Aston Villa and Chelmsley Town. When he was 10, Deeney and his mother were beaten by their father, leading to a visit from social services. The couple separated when Deeney was 11, with custody of the child going to his mother.

After leaving school in 2004, he trained as a bricklayer before joining non-league club Chelmsley Town, where he was spotted by Walsall’s academy director Mick Hassall.
