Trump’s response

Trump recently sparked controversy in August when he shared an AI-generated image of Taylor Swift dressed as Uncle Sam, falsely endorsing his campaign. RollingStone reported that when Trump was asked about his feelings about Swift endorsing the Harris-Walz ticket, he said, “I’m not a Taylor Swift fan. It’s just a matter of timing. You can’t endorse Biden. But she’s a very liberal person, she always seems to endorse a Democrat — and she’s probably going to pay for that in the marketplace.”

“I actually like Mrs. Mahomes a lot better,” he added, referring to Swift’s friend Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is said to like pro-Trump social media posts.
