Tyrese tells his ‘Babymama 1 and 2’ he will ‘shoot, stab and kill’ to protect his money

Tyrese took to social media Monday, November 18 with a special message for the mother of both of his children, leading fans to dub him “the real life Jody,” his character in ‘ Baby Boy’.

The actor and musician says that when it comes to the life he’s earned, he won’t give it up for anyone – be it his friends, family or any woman he’ll getting married in the future for that matter.

In the clip, the 45-year-old – who is famous for his emotional monologues online – appears a bit exasperated, explaining to the world how far he will go to keep what belongs to him.

“I earned this living,” the superstar began. “I will never let anyone make me feel bad about the life I live. And I’ll tell you right now, mommy darlings numbers 1 and 2… if you haven’t learned already, I won’t give it to you Just as I fought for this life, I will fight to keep it. I won’t give it to anyone, no one can take it away.

“I will shoot, stab and kill me,” the ‘Baby Boy’ star continued. “And Imma’ defend this bottom line at all costs. I’ve earned it – and I’ll defend it. Imma’ defend it with all the might I’ve earned.”

“That applies to my relatives, everyone in my family, anyone I would marry again. If you think I’m about to give it to you,” he gestured, “after I’ve worked hard to get it,” added the NAACP Image Award winner, shaking his head.

Fans have become somewhat accustomed to the “Lately” singer’s public criticism, and judging by the responses in the comments section, it feels like this is business as usual.

“Not today Tyrese, we won’t do this to you,” one fan wrote along with a palm emoji. “He Jody in REAL life”, the second verse pokes, refers to his starring role in John Singleton’s 2001 cult classic, ‘Baby Boy’, about a 20-year-old black man facing the social evils of urban adulthood. “What more do you want from my button,” a third joked about his earlier tearful statement. “CRYrese,” said a fourth voice.

The “Sweet Lady” vocalist seemingly spoke his words to everyone in his life, but specifically mentioned his baby mamas, Samantha Lee and Norma Mitchell, in ‘ HotNewHipHop’.

Gibson has two daughters with ex-wife Mitchell, Shayla, 17, and one with ex-wife Lee, Soraya, 6.
