Early life and education
On April 24, 1964, Umo Bassey Eno was born and raised in Akwa Ibom State where he completed his primary and secondary education.
He is pursuing a PhD at the University of Uyo, where he also holds a master’s degree in public administration.
Pastor Umo Eno attended the National Productivity Awards (FNCHI) and graduated from the Lagos Business School (LBS) of the Pan-African University.
Umo Eno, a successful businessman and progressive Christian leader, founded The Royalty Group in 1997, specializing in manufacturing, oil and gas industry, information and communications technology (ICT) and hospitality.
He is a politician but also a pastor and the general overseer of All Nations Christian Ministry International. This church seeks to unite all Christians, regardless of racial or ethnic background.
Career
Pastor Eno started working for the Federal Bank of Nigeria in 1982. He worked at Bertola Machine Tools from 1985 to 1990.
From 1990 to 1997, the minister worked for Norman Holdings Limited as group general manager (GGM) of commercial services before leaving to establish Royalty Hotels and Recreations Limited.
Umo Eno held several positions between 2004 and 2007, including chairman of the Akwa Ibom Hotels and Tourism Board.

He is also a member of the Paul Haris Fellows program of the Rotary Club of Eket District 9140. In Akwa Ibom State, he is the commissioner for land and water resources.
