“Valorant” gameplay

Valorant offers an immersive team-based experience in the realm of first-person tactical hero shooters, set in a near-futuristic environment. Players take on the role of agents, a diverse cast of characters inspired by different countries and cultures, each given unique abilities and ultimate skills that require charging through different in-game actions. The main game mode divides participants into offensive and defensive teams, with each team consisting of five players.

At the start of each round, players are equipped with a “classic” pistol and charge based on their “signature abilities.” A complex economic system controls acquisition of weapons and ability fees, with in-game currency awarded based on turn results, individual kills, and completed objectives.

The game’s arsenal spans a variety of weapons, including secondary options like secondary weapons and primary options like submachine guns, shotguns, machine guns, assault rifles, and sniper rifles. The firing dynamics of automatic and semi-automatic weapons require players to master unique firing patterns for an accurate gaming experience. There are currently 23 different agents to choose from, with players initially unlocking 5 agents when creating an account, with the rest available through an in-game currency called Kingdom Points.

These points can be earned by playing the game, completing daily and weekly missions, and can be used to unlock new agents or cosmetics. Additionally, new agents can be unlocked within the first 28 days of release using Valorant Points (VP), which can be purchased with real money or earned through select events and Xbox Game Pass subscriptions.
