Dr. Victor Chang was born on November 25, 1936 in Shanghai, China, to Aubrey and Mary Chang.
He was sent to Australia in the early 1950s to live with his extended family. Chang attended St. Kevin’s College in Melbourne and then enrolled at the University of Sydney, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1962.
