He selects and mixes the records, and I am the one who stands in front of the crowd, plays the records, makes meaningful comments on the songs, and plays them. I keep the energy high throughout the show by bringing humor to the crowd when the situation calls for it and emotion when the situation calls for it.

Walshy Fire worked on Major Lazer’s albums APOCALYPSE SOON and PEACE IS THE MISSION. He co-wrote Chronixx’s song Blaze Up The Fire for the latter album and also provided vocals on the song Too Original. He helped produce Major Lazer’s EP Know No Better.

A year after releasing Peace is the Mission, Major Lazer revealed plans to release Cold Water, a new song featuring Justin Bieber and MØ, as the lead single from their upcoming album. He has performed mixes of various genres including dancehall reggae, roots reggae, soca, house, bass, moombahton, Latin, Afrobeat, hip-hop and old-school R&B while touring several Miami clubs over the years.
