Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate Demon Hunter plot

In the prologue of the game, players take on the role of Captain Agravin, leading the Gray Knights strike force against the forces of Khorne on the planet Gaheris. During their journey, the commandos encountered Inquisitor Kasa Vakil, who asked them to investigate a region-wide plague known as “The Bloom.” As they investigate further, they discover an Eldar craftworld corrupted by Nurgle, the Chaos god of disease and decay. Here they faced the renegade Death Guard, led by the Daemon Prince of Nurgle, Kardex Ilkalion, and learned of the Reapers’ spread of the Blooming Light across the sector.

Despite their efforts to capture Cadix and stop the Flower’s spread, Inquisitor Valkyr discovered that defeating the Reapers alone was not enough. The Daemon Primarch of the Death Guard, Mortarion, revealed that he was the mastermind behind the Bloomers and intended to use the sector as a base from which to attack the Gray Knights. This revelation sets the stage for a fierce battle against Mortarion and his minions, as the fate of the sector hangs in the balance.

As the Gray Knights battle Mortarion and his forces, they must traverse treacherous environments and overcome insurmountable odds to cut off Broome’s roots and thwart Mortarion’s plans. With the help of Grand Master Kaldor Draigo, the Gray Knights face their greatest challenge yet, in a final battle that will determine the fate of the galaxy.
