Authorities said they were initially called to a hotel in Buenos Aires after receiving a complaint about an “aggressive man” who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Upon arrival, they were also informed of a noise that echoed throughout the hotel’s courtyard. It leads them to the discovery of the singer’s lifeless body.

In a statement, the city’s emergency medical services director shared that Payne was immediately transported to the hospital after his fall. Unfortunately, the injuries suffered were considered “very serious” and “not resuscitable”.
Now, people are taking to social media to remember the British singer, but one person they don’t want to do is Cowell.
Many people believe that Cowell contributed to Payne’s difficulties during his One Direction era and even after their split in 2016.
In a conversation with Men’s Health Australia in 2019, Payne shared that the band’s rapid rise to fame had left him disoriented, leaving him feeling isolated at times. To overcome his emotions, he confessed to regularly resorting to alcohol, considering the ordeal as harmful to his health.
“When you’re doing hundreds and hundreds [concerts] and it’s the same 22 songs at the same time every day, even if you’re not happy, you’ve got to go out there,” he said.
He continued, “It’s almost like you put on a Disney costume before going on stage and underneath the Disney costume, I was pretty angry because there was no other way for you to understand what was going on.” . I mean it’s fun.”

“We had a great blast but there were some parts of it that were a bit toxic,” he added.
Answering a question about control in difficult situations, the British singer revealed that he always struggles with this issue.
“I still struggle with that now. I really struggle to say no because I don’t want to disappoint people. It’s in my nature,” he shared.
