Some have described the video as disturbing, but fans went crazy when she took to X to tweet, “Yes, single…” As of this writing, Minaj has yet to clarify what she means that in that tweet.
Since then, fans have been deciphering whether she meant she had a new single coming out or that she was single, perhaps due to her divorce from her husband, Kenneth Petty.
Minaj has experienced backlash since marrying Petty in 2019. Famously, Petty was convicted of first-degree rape in 1995. He served four years in prison and was ordered to register as a sex offender upon release.
In 2006, Petty was convicted of first-degree manslaughter and served an additional six years and eleven months in prison.

Since then, Minaj has been controversial with the public over her decision to marry Petty, who also had legal scandals that tarnished her huge reputation.

Her ever-loyal fans expressed their concern and support on social media, causing the hashtag #WeLoveYouNicki to trend worldwide.
“She was more than just an artist. She played a huge role in our childhood. She encouraged and supported us in unimaginable ways. We will always stand by with her,” one fan posted.
“Lord, please protect Onika from all the evil in the world. I pray that You continue to guide her. Surround her with sincere and supportive people who will uplift and encourage her. Wishing her good health, happiness and continued success. Amen,” another person wrote.
