What Happened to The Second Bangle in The Marvels?

What happened to the second bracelet in Marvel?

In Marvel, the second bracelet is called the Quantum Bracelet and is discovered by the evil Kree radical Darben on a distant planet called MB-418. This surprised Kamala Khan and others because they didn’t expect the bracelet to be in space. The Quantum Ribbon is a powerful artifact of the Kree civilization, capable of opening dimensional portals known as jump points by manipulating large amounts of energy.

Dar-Ben uses the bracelet to drain the planet’s atmosphere in an attempt to save her dying homeworld of Hala. However, her attempt to use both Quantum Ribbons at the same time leads to her downfall. The combined power overwhelms her, causing her death and tearing apart space and time.

After Darben’s defeat, Kamala was entrusted with the management of the two quantum bands. It’s unclear how she’s able to handle the immense power of two bracelets, but this may be due to her mutant genes or her extended connection to one. Now equipped with two powerful objects, Kamala’s future adventures as Ms. Marvel are sure to be eventful, possibly involving her companions from the Young Avengers.

Plans for a sequel were confirmed in July 2019, with development beginning in January 2020. Larson returned as Danvers, and da Costa was hired as director. Paris and Villani also reprise their roles. Filming began in mid-2021 at various locations, with Karasik involved in post-production.

“Marvel” premiered in November 2023 as part of Phase 5 of the Marvel Universe to mixed reviews, praising the performances but criticizing the script. It performed below expectations at the box office, grossing $206 million worldwide against a budget of $274.8 million, becoming one of the MCU’s lowest-grossing films and failing to break even in theaters.

Marvel plot

Carol Danvers destroys the Supreme Intelligence, the leader of the Kree. This led to war on the Kree homeworld of Hala, which became barren over the next 30 years. New Kree leader Dar-Benn has found one of the legendary quantum ribbons that could create a network for fast space travel.

She opens a jump point near Earth, which Monica Rambeau investigates. When Rambo touches it, she switches places with Danvers and Kamala Khan, who own the other Quantums. They realize that when they use their light-based powers, they switch places.

They team up to travel to the Skrull colony to negotiate peace with the Kree. Dar-Ben sabotaged the negotiations and attempted to restore Hala by draining other planets. The trio, now known as the Miracles, stop her. They traveled to Aradna to warn the locals. Darben attempted to use two Quantum Belts but were destroyed, creating a rift between realities.

Rambo closed the door from the other side, but it got stuck. Danvers restored Hala’s sun and Kamala returned to Earth. Inspired by their teamwork, Kamala decided to form a group of young heroes. In a scene after the credits, Rambo wakes up in an alternate universe.
