When will Fortnite servers resume in 2023?
Fortnite’s downtime and follow-up update v25.10 is scheduled to begin at 3 a.m. ET today (June 20, 2023). This update marks the first major update for Chapter 4 Season 3 and is expected to bring several meta changes.
Epic Games is following its usual pattern of starting the process an hour earlier than usual, but leaked information from data miners suggests the actual downtime will begin at 4 a.m. Eastern Time.
While the actual start time is 4 a.m. ET, players should note that the servers will go offline at 2:30 a.m. ET. For those who are actively unlocking costumes through the Battle Pass or playing the Base Storm Shield Defense mission, it is recommended to complete their activities before then to avoid potential loss of progress.
Since this is the first major update for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3, the process may take a while. Both the Battle Royale and Save the World modes have received extensive changes. Assuming the update starts at 4am ET, players can expect the servers to come back online at 7am ET.
It is important to acknowledge the possibility of delays caused by unforeseen circumstances or technical issues. Nonetheless, Epic Games has proven its ability to handle such situations based on previous major updates. Hopefully removing the daily login bonus won’t cause a backlash from the Fortnite community.

Fixes and content changes for Fortnite update v25.10
The cancellation of daily login rewards and adjustments to the reward-based system in Save the World mode have become important topics. Additionally, Epic Games announced that with the release of the v25.10 update, all in-game rankings in Ranked Mode will be reset.
Once the downtime is over, new challenges, missions, and rewards are expected to be introduced. While there’s currently no information on potential changes to the ranked mode itself, data miners may uncover details during the outage.
On the other hand, a notable collaboration with Nike titled “Airphoria” will begin as soon as the downtime ends. This collaboration will feature clothing/skins designed by Nike and creative maps produced by Nike in UEFN.
“.Swoosh” members are expected to receive special rewards, but specific details are currently unclear. Additionally, the highly anticipated Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 super styles will likely be revealed during the downtime, and hopefully they’ll be as impressive as previous releases.
In terms of gameplay, the update will bring shockwave grenades back to the loot pool in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3, increasing mobility. This addition will prove useful, especially in jungle biomes, allowing players to traverse cliffs with ease.
Finally, more information will be revealed about the upcoming 14 Days of Summer event and July crew packs. The community is eagerly awaiting details about the new characters in the Crew Pack, as data miners have been unable to determine their identities. It is speculated that it could be a member of The Unseen or The Luminaries.

“Fortnite” gameplay
Fortnite is an extremely popular online video game known for its fast-paced and dynamic gameplay. The game offers different modes, but the most well-known and widely played is Fortnite: Battle Royale. In this mode, up to 100 players are dropped onto a large map and compete with each other to become the last surviving player or team.
The game begins with players parachuting onto the map and selecting their starting location. Once on the surface, they must scavenge for weapons, resources, and equipment to gain an advantage in combat. Over time, the playable area shrinks, forcing players closer together and encounters more intense.
As the game progresses, players must strategize and make quick decisions to survive. They can build structures using collected resources such as wood, bricks, and metal, which adds a unique architectural element to the gameplay. The building can be used defensively for cover or offensively to gain height and tactical advantage.
Combat in Fortnite is fast and furious. Players engage in gunfights using a variety of weapons, from assault rifles and shotguns to sniper rifles and explosives. Additionally, the map is dotted with unique items and power-ups that provide temporary advantages, such as health regeneration, shield potions, and mobility-enhancing items.
Fortnite gameplay isn’t just about destroying your opponents, it’s also about adapting to the ever-changing dynamics of the match. Players need to be aware of their surroundings at all times, make strategic decisions and react quickly to survive in this highly competitive environment.
The game also regularly features limited-time modes, special events, and collaborations with popular franchises to keep gameplay fresh and exciting. In addition, Fortnite Creative Mode allows players to create their own worlds, maps, and game modes, providing endless possibilities for creativity and exploration.
