‘Where is this energy for Britney Spears?’

Following the death of Liam Payne on October 16, fans have now called for a new law called “Liam’s Law”. However, not everyone was on board.

The law will enact certain protections to ensure artists’ mental health remains good.

According to Change.org’s petition, the law would “require regular mental health screenings, adequate rest periods, and the presence of mental health professionals on-site, including any support continuously throughout their careers. It will ensure a healthier, safer life.” and a more favorable working environment for artists to hone their talents and reduce psychological stress.”

“This will also include early interventions to protect and mitigate before it is too late. Furthermore, the increasing rate of musicians dying before the age of 35 is worrying,” it continued .

The petition has garnered nearly 94,000 signatures since it was started on October 18. Despite this, there are still critics of the law who say action like this should have been applied to Other artists include Britney Spears, Chappell Roan and Whitney Houston.

Roan has long been open about her struggles with fame since her career took off this year.
