Where can I find all the artifacts in Children of the Forest?

Found Artifact A

To find Artifact Fragment A, head to the cave in the northwest of the island, away from the center of the island. Go through the narrow crack in the rock and go straight ahead, past hanging branches and a small waterfall on the left. You’ll come across a rotten wooden fence, which you should break with an axe. Go over it, drop down the rope and keep going left until you reach another wooden obstacle. Break it too, turn left, and at the end of the passage you will find the container containing Artifact Fragment A.

Artifact Fragment B is hidden in a cave northeast of the center of the island. Go through the wooden barrier near the blue crates, smash them with the axe, and go down the ramp on the right. Once you reach the bottom, you’ll see a rope hanging down the canyon to your right.

Climb down the rope, walk along the ledge and break another wooden fence ahead. Continue a short distance to find another drop-off with a rope on the right. Climb down the rope and jump into the water below. Swim through the narrow cave and out of the water to destroy another wooden barrier and find Artifact Fragment B in the room beyond.

Found artifact C piece

Artifact Fragment C waits in a cave west of the center of the island. Enter the hidden cave through the boarded-up entrance inside the hut. Destroy the barrier and climb down the rope at the end of the short passage and into the water on the right. Follow the path, crossing the makeshift planks and destroying another obstacle until you reach the bottom. Continue down, destroy the next obstacle, and climb down another rope into the abyss. You will find Artifact Fragment C resting on a glowing golden object in a weird scene with several skeletons gathered around it.

The sequel introduced new gameplay elements, featured 3D printing, and introduced friendly non-player characters (NPCs), most notably the deaf-mute Kelvin. Players can use written commands to issue orders to Kelvin, helping to gather resources and prepare firepower.

Another interesting NPC encounter is Virginia, a three-legged, three-armed woman who can wield weapons to assist in combat scenes. The game features a massively expanded map that’s four times larger than its predecessor, providing plenty of room for exploration and discovery. Co-op multiplayer for up to eight players enhances the experience, but single-player remains an option for those looking for a solo challenge.

Additionally, player decisions impact the narrative, leading to multiple possible endings, adding depth and replayability to the experience. Children of the Forest builds on the foundation of The Forest, introducing new mechanics, characters and emergent gameplay opportunities to ensure an immersive and dynamic survival experience for players.
