Where to find dinosaurs in Palworld
In Palworld, the powerful Pal dinosaur Dinossom can easily appear in the first area of the game, making it an early-game encounter that players shouldn’t ignore. To find the dinosaur, go down the stairs, past the expedition survivor’s campsite, and turn right, where you may find it towers over the rest of your nearby companions. As the map expands, dinosaurs remain common in the area to the right of the main entrance. Although it is slow on its feet, players can confidently approach and initiate combat, but beware of its restraint attack.
Compared to other early companions, Dinossom is at a higher level, between level 7 and 9. Its attacks are powerful and can push characters away, so players should dodge and counterattack strategically. Consider using companions to assist in combat, but be aware that the dinosaurs will target the player first. Once captured, the dino proves to be versatile, helping with tasks such as chopping down trees, growing crops at the base, and serving as a reliable mount with enhanced grass-type moves for efficient exploration.

Despite his deceptively impassive expression, the dino can deal significant damage through a series of moves that combine restraints and launching attacks to knock enemies away.
