Froakie from Pokémon Crimson and Violet
In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, Froakie is now available thanks to the Indigo Disk DLC. Prior to this DLC, Froakie could not be found in the game. But with this addition, you can meet Froakie in a specific section of the terrarium at Blueberry Academy. However, catching Froakie requires completing certain tasks first.
This step is crucial to getting Froakie to appear in the game. After completing this mission, you will have the opportunity to capture Froakie and add him to your team. This is a great opportunity for players who have been waiting to get their hands on this water-type starter from the Kalos region. Keep in mind that this is a new feature brought with the Indigo Disk DLC, giving players more options to explore and expand the Pokemon collection in Scarlet & Violet.
Where can I find Froakie in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
To track down Froakie in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, head to the coastal biome within Terarium. But before that, there’s a problem: you need to contribute 3000BP to the Crystal Ball Club in the Alliance Club Room. Once completed, Froakie will begin to appear on the coast of the island near the shore plaza.
Now, let’s talk BP – they are Blueberry Points, kind of like Blueberry Academy’s special coins. You can get these by completing the Blueberry quest (BBQ). These quests will pop up after you take your first lesson in Terrarium’s coastal biome. Start with three grills, and upon completion, more challenging grills are unlocked.
To get to the Alliance Club, meet Carmine in the central square. She will contact you after your first session. Keep in mind that Carmine won’t come to your aid if you haven’t completed the “Way Home” main quest. This means that if you want to catch Froakie, you have to enter the post-game stage.
Once you defeat Carmine, you become a member of the Alliance Club. Use their computer to contribute BP, focusing on coastal biomes. This is where Froakie hangs out, and where you can unlock other launch players like Bulbasaur and Hydra.

Pokemon scarlet and violet
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are games launching in 2022 on Nintendo Switch. They are the first of the ninth set of Pokémon games. These games are different because they take place in a region called Pardia, which, like the Iberian Peninsula, has a large open world.
In these games, players can complete three different stories. Scarlet and Violet showcased 110 new Pokémon, including two new varieties unique to the region, as well as some special Pokémon called Paradox Pokémon. They also have something called Terastal, which turns Pokémon into a special “Tera Type”.
The games received some mixed feedback from experts. Some people like the open world and story, but others don’t like the look of the game or some of the issues it had when it first launched. Even so, they sold a lot, like over 23 million copies, by September 2023. So while they’ve received some criticism, many people still really like them and think they bring something new to the Pokémon games.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Gameplay
In Pokémon Crimson and Violet, the gameplay follows the pattern we’re used to of catching Pokémon, exploring, and fighting trainers. But there’s a cool new twist! Players can now choose if they want to fight trainers on special paths. Unlike older Pokémon games, these games feature vast open worlds where cities and wilderness are mixed together with no clear borders between each other.
You can choose your own path and do things in any order you like, which is pretty neat. There are 112 new Pokémon in these games, including newcomers like Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, as well as two legendary Pokémon, Koraidon and Miraidon, that can help you travel the world. They also gave some Pokémon new forms, such as Paradox Pokémon and “Convergent Evolution” Pokémon, which look like other Pokémon but are completely different.
You can even have your Pokémon roam the world and automatically battle other wild Pokémon! Plus, you can team up with three friends for cooperative play. One super cool thing is the Terastal thing, which makes Pokémon look crystal-like and changes their type. It’s like they got special moves to match their new types, which is awesome.
