Where is Ganondorf in Kingdom Tears?
Ganondorf can be located beneath Hyrule Castle, specifically in the Abyss at the very bottom. This location is the starting point for the “Tears of the Kingdom” quest. To find the entrance to Ganondorf’s lair, you can use the coordinates (-0230, 0868, 0123). In the Tears of the Kingdom mission, there are multiple steps to reach Ganon, and you first have to land on the south side of Hyrule Castle.

To get there easily, take advantage of the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower. From there, you can glide all the way to the gatehouse on the lower level of Hyrule Castle. Before embarking on this journey, it is recommended to craft sufficient endurance potions and recipes to combat depression. By ensuring a steady replenishment of these resources, you’ll be able to reach Ganondorf regardless of your character level.
Once you reach the castle and find yourself standing on a ledge, it’s time to jump into the massive cavern below. You need to dive and float downward until you reach a point called “Gloom’s Approach”. It’s at this moment that the true path to the most important battle in the game begins.
Ganondorf TOTK location
Once you’ve successfully glided to the bottom of the dark passage beneath Hyrule Castle, it’s crucial to turn around and face south. If needed, refer to the crack markers on the map to make sure you’re heading in the right direction. Directly south of your landing point, you’ll encounter another small cave entrance, guarded by a Like Like.

Keep running towards this entrance and slide down. It’s worth noting that most of the areas covered in this guide require a combination of gliding, climbing, and encountering shadowy and powerful enemies. This particular cave has two openings at the bottom, and it doesn’t matter which one you choose.
Once you slide through one of the openings, you’ll encounter three Electrokiss. Don’t be overly alarmed by them as they cause very little damage. However, they have the ability to amaze you. To mitigate any risk, swipe through them quickly. Then, head towards the nearby ledge and use the glider to reach the broken bridge on the left.
Be careful, as falling into this area will result in a devastating attack from the enemy in the center of the arena. Missing even one jump would result in my instant death. This entrance must be reached without succumbing to the bottom in order to continue along Ganondorf’s Path in Kingdom Tears.

After passing Keith and entering the next stretch of road, you’ll encounter a brief respite from enemies. Make your way through the corridors shrouded in darkness until you reach a room where debris has fallen. Jump onto the rightmost shard and use the recall ability. This will lift you to the next area, like an elevator. Take your time to gather here, because the road ahead is only going to get more dangerous.
After emerging from the ruins, there is another path ahead, leading to another fall point. Yes, this may come as a surprise, but this path always leads to more divides. Don’t worry, it won’t stop. The goal is to land away from the darkness and prepare for another dangerous stretch of road ahead.

When players begin this endeavor, they may encounter various obstacles and difficulties. To help them overcome these challenges, this walkthrough provides valuable guidance. Before embarking on the mission to destroy Ganondorf, players are advised to make certain preparations. Here are some key preparations to consider:
-
Foods to Cure the Blues: Having enough food to heal a blue heart is crucial. These dishes can be prepared by cooking Sundelions with meat, fruit or herbs. Players should be prepared to consume these restorative foods frequently during the mission.
-
Shield: It is recommended to have a full shield in Kingdom Tears, as players are likely to break multiple shields during intense battles with Ganondorf.
-
Shadow Resistance: Gaining Shadow Resistance can be advantageous for certain parts of a mission. This resistance can be gained through Melancholy resistance food or by using the Abyssal Armor set in Tears of the Kingdom. However, it’s worth noting that Darkness can be countered by relying solely on Darkness healing foods, making Darkness resistance an optional consideration.

Ganon is depicted as a massive and powerful creature who was initially the leader of the Gerudo, a humanoid race that lived in the desert, and later transformed into the ruler of demons. In his human form, known as Ganondorf, he possesses the ability to change his appearance through magic.
While Ganon’s specific motivations vary from game to game, his common goal is to capture Princess Zelda of Hyrule (a recurring scene in the series) and conquer Hyrule and the world. To achieve these goals, he relentlessly pursues the Triforce, a powerful artifact capable of granting any wish.
Ganon often manipulates other villains in his pursuit of power. Typically, he wields the Triforce of Power, granting him immense strength, powerful mystical abilities, and near-invulnerability except against divine weapons like the Master Sword. In addition to games, Ganon has appeared in various forms of media and merchandise, including animated TV series, manga adaptations, and Amiibo statues.
