Tedros found the idea attractive. In another scene, Jocelyn spends time in a recording studio with Tedros’ followers, and Chloe (Suzanne San) expresses concern that Jocelyn can’t say no to Tedros.

During the dinner scene, the relationship between Jocelyn and Tedros becomes tense when Jocelyn questions Tedros’ authority and experience in the music industry. Tedros asks Jocelyn to reveal her secret, and she surprises him by discovering that her late mother was abusive and motivated by physical violence.

Tedros seized the opportunity to reenact the abuse, instructing Jocelyn to get a hairbrush while he gathered “the family” inside. Jocelyn tearfully endured repeated beatings with a hairbrush from Tedros, mirroring the abuse her mother suffered.
