Who is Kelly Bensimon’s daughter?

Kelly Bensimon has two daughters, Sea and Teddy Bensimon, with her first husband Gilles Bensimon. But more than daughters, Sea and Teddy look like sisters to the RHONY star. In fact, Dailymail labelled them triplets when they wore puffer jackets and had similar blonde hairstyles in January 2022.

Reflecting on her role as a mother, Kelly says, “Raising children requires patience and commitment. Having the cake you want, the drink you want, smelling the flowers you like, and embracing yourself. It doesn’t matter if we’re stepmoms, adoptive moms, or single moms — we’re raising the next generation to be great. Let’s do it together.”

But the birds have left the nest. With both of them busy building their careers, Kelly misses them. “I wish my kids were home for Valentine’s Day, but they’re both in college and I’m a single mom. I’m lonely without them. I miss my girls so much,” she once wrote.

Sea Bensimon is Kelly Bensimon’s oldest daughter.

After Sea was born, Kelly struggled with postpartum depression for two years until she became pregnant with her second daughter. The depression caused her so much anxiety that she was afraid to be alone with Sea. Added to that, with no one to turn to because women were not open about postpartum depression at the time, Kelly went through hell.

“I had a really bad postpartum period — really bad,” she said. “I mean I couldn’t drive. I was so anxious. I didn’t want to be alone.”

Additionally, Kelly added that her struggles were made worse by the absence of her then-husband, Gilles. “It was like I had just had a baby and my ex-husband had just left and gone on a trip and I was that baby by myself,” she recalled. “I was so young and none of my friends had kids. I was so scared. I loved her so much but I was really scared. I couldn’t drive. It was really, really bad.”

Sea Bensimon was born on May 6, 1998. That means she is 25 years old in 2023.

This also means that Kelly was 30 years old when she gave birth to Sea.

Additionally, she worked at SoulCycle Inc. for nine months behind the front desk, where she prepared and cleaned the room before and after class, handled check-ins, learned how to provide customer service, assisted with retail sales, and assisted with every detail to ensure both instructors and riders were well taken care of.

Regarding education, Sea studied Cinematography and Film/Video Production at the University of Southern California in 2015, Sports Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2016, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sports and Fitness Management/Administration at the University of Mississippi from 2017 to 2021.
