Zach Edey was born on May 14, 2002 in Toronto, Canada, is a professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA. He comes from a diverse background, being the son of Julia, a former Chinese-Canadian athlete, and Glen Edey.

Glen Edey
Glen Edey, Zach Edey’s father, is Caucasian-Canadian. He has a background in sports, having played baseball and ice hockey in his youth.
He works as an assistant coach for a youth baseball league and actively supports Zach’s basketball career. Participation in the sport certainly shaped Glen’s perspective and influenced the values he passed on to his sons.
