Who is the developer of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown?
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, a studio best known for the Rayman series. They spent about three and a half years developing the game. The game’s composers are Gareth Coker and Iranian composer Mentrix. The game draws inspiration from Persian mythology and aims to reveal lesser-known aspects of the mythology and show how Persian culture influenced other mythologies. Director Mounir Radi mentioned the goal of introducing Persian monsters such as manticores as boss characters.
The Lost Crown is an original story set in the Prince of Persia universe, with temporal powers similar to those in The Sands of Time series, but wielded by antagonists instead of Sargon. In “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown”, the gameplay is to act as Sargon, the main hero of the game. You’ll guide him through a series of fast-moving platforming challenges and fight enemies with his trusty blade. Timing is key – you can pull off cool moves and build special powers by blocking attacks just right.
Best of all are Sargon’s time-based abilities. He can use Simurgh’s Rush to break through time, and use Simurgh’s Shadow to create temporary checkpoints. Plus, there are these cool talismans that adjust Sargon’s skills and abilities.
The game is designed like one big puzzle, with an interconnected world full of secrets, shortcuts, and tricky puzzles to solve. During your exploration, you will collect time crystals to enhance Sargon’s weapons.
