Addicts in rehab Star Bobby Prothero met the beautiful and much younger Karin Prothero back in 1997. More than 25 years later and he still believes she is the love of his life.

Recalling the memory, Bobby often felt overwhelmed and wrote on social media things like — he couldn’t believe Karin kept him around for so long.

The following year, on June 17, she passed away at the age of 9. At this point, she had been diagnosed with neuroblastoma for nearly four years.
The late Tessa loved to dance and attended Upton Primary School. She was just starting kindergarten when she was diagnosed.
Bobby’s co-star Nicole also had a special bond with Tessa. After Tessa’s death, the mother of two sons had two sons but Tessa was like a daughter to her. She said when she watched Tessa’s death on Addicts in rehab It was really hard. In February 2019, in memory of Tessa, the HGTV star even chopped off 30cm of her hair to raise money for children who have lost their hair due to cancer or other medical conditions.
Bobby and Karin also remember Tessa whenever they can. They use their accounts to reflect on their time with her and post photos of themselves on each anniversary of her death.
Their other daughter, Marley, was born in 2013. Three years later, Jay was born.
