James C Bender is an interior designer and project manager who appears on Christina On The Coast. He joined the show in 2021 (season 3) and continued to work with Christina in the following season.
But James is more than just Christina’s closest co-worker. He’s also her best friend and her self-proclaimed “office husband.” Praising Christina, he says, “I appreciate you more than you know, and I’m so grateful for the journey that brought us here. You allowed me to be myself in every sense of the word without judgment, respected our circle of trust, and always loved with all my heart.”
In 2020, the duo was even spotted cruising and enjoying “Champagne on the water” in Newport Beach, California.

A little about James’ partner, Roger was born in February 1966. He graduated from Fountain Valley High School in 1984 and began his career with Blue Cross of California as a group sales assistant. He worked there for 5 years, then moved to Lincoln National, and then went on to work for Safeguard Dental, Foundation Health, Prudential Healthcare, and Universalcare.
Finally, in September 2006, he landed a job as an account executive at Blue Shield of California and he never left again.
Roger was also a regular on James’ IG. From attending pride parades to family vacations, he was always pictured with his lover. But surprisingly, they stopped posting about each other after February 2020.
