Ahead of the show’s premiere, E! Online spoke with Kevin Klass and other contestants. When asked why Kevin decided to join Finding Magic Mike, he revealed that he wanted to get out of his comfort zone and do something he’d never done before.

He further revealed that he heard about the show from his roommate Brennan. Kevin told E! Online, “He’s always looking for commercial gigs and audition opportunities. He forwarded me information about this particular audition and we decided to go for it!”

Kevin also spoke a bit about the lasting impact that dance would have on his life. He revealed that “dancing” meant something completely different than it did before he auditioned for Finding Magic Mike. Kevin said, “I learned that dancing is a great way to express yourself without having to say a word… The dancers would always amaze me. It was amazing to see behind the scenes how they learned their moves and the true passion behind each performance.”
