In this series, Ranvir Singh shows viewers how to “achieve the green dream without spending a fortune.”
Ranvir will follow three families as they renovate and recreate their traditional homes into beautiful eco-friendly environments with expert guidance and advice from none other than Kunle Barker.
For example, in the opening episode of the series, i.e. the first episode, Ranvir and Kunle travel to Manchester to meet Sian and Glenn Absalom, who want to renovate their kitchen on a tight budget.
By installing a kitchen made from recycled plastic, using linoleum flooring made from flaxseed, installing double glazing and using energy efficient appliances, they will certainly help cut down on the homeowner’s energy bills even more.

Kunle Barker is definitely married and has a wife. However, very little is known about her. Her name is Milsey and according to what Kunle shares on social media, they are happily married and have two beautiful little daughters.
In 2018, Kunle was very proud of his wife when she started a new business. Forest & Family help change the way children interact with nature.
At other times, Kunle also takes to social media to share photos of his family on their favorite vacation in Granada, Spain, their pets, etc.
Speaking to First Time Buyer magazine in September 2020, and specifically answering the question “Where do you live now?” Kunle shared that =- when he moved back to London from West Yorkshire, England, he decided to rent somewhere with his girlfriend, who is now his wife. So, together with Milsey, he bought a larger apartment and then moved into the house they live in now.
Going into detail, Kunle revealed that the place was an Edwardian-style townhouse in northwest London and with two young children, it was even more suitable for them.
One day, Kunle, in addition to his dream of becoming an opening batsman for England, also wants to build his own house somewhere along the western corridor, just outside London.
Fun fact: Kunle bought his first home in 20021 when he was a masters student at the University of Leeds. It was a five-bedroom Victorian townhouse that cost £60,000, which he eventually sold before moving back to London.
Kunle Barker Education
Property expert, writer and broadcaster Kunle Barker started his construction career while studying for an MA (Human Resource Management) at the University of Leeds.
Prior to that, from 1991 – 1995, he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Engineering and Business at the same university.
Kunle Barker’s career
Kunle started renovating houses in London and decided to set up Illustrious Homes in 2004.
By mid-2021, he had completed over 8,000 home renovation projects, 120 schools and 3 sports centers, along with countless other high-end private renovation projects.
