Christian caught 34 passes and six touchdowns as a redshirt sophomore and was named second-team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC). In his redshirt junior season, he had 19 catches and one touchdown. After catching 43 passes and seven touchdowns in his redshirt senior season, he was named first-team All-MVFC.
