Meet Maggie Robinson, CrossFit’s Greg Glassman’s Wife
Maggie Robinson first met Greg Glassman in 2013. At the time, she was working as a waitress at a restaurant frequented by the CrossFit owner in San Diego. And they quickly fell in love. Well, at least that’s the version of the story Greg likes to tell.
But in reality, Dale Saran, Greg’s legal director, was the first person to ask Maggie out on a date. Unfortunately, he fell asleep in the hot tub and someone had to take her home. “That person” is Greg.
Given that Greg is newly married and Maggie, a struggling waitress, we can imagine how they might connect with each other later.
In case you didn’t know, Greg was married to Lauren Jenai until 2013. Although the two filed for divorce in 2009, the drama of splitting their CrossFit business into two companies never ended. In fact, it wasn’t finalized until Lauren gave up half of her business.
Lauren reportedly received $16.2 million. But the four-year divorce battle she went through, raising four children on her own, sent her into such a negative spiral that she fell into depression.
CrossFit is now worth much more than it was in 2009 when the asset split took place. Greg reportedly secured the necessary funding in the form of loans from other companies he had close ties to in order to repay the $16.2 million that belonged to his ex-wife.
Likewise, Lauren is in a much better place. Today, she is the owner of Manifest, a company that helps non-elite athletes get healthier. Her love life, however, remains chaotic.

Last we checked, she was in a “complicated” relationship with her soon-to-be second husband Franklin Tyrone Tucker. Ironically, she still had to post Franklin’s $75,000 bail—it was originally set at $2 million! They are expected to divorce after Franklin’s case is resolved.
As for Greg’s first marriage, it was to Brande Jones, his childhood neighbor.
