Early life
Papi Ojo was born in the commercial city of Lagos state in 1998. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ojo.
He is from the Yoruba tribe. He is the youngest child in the family, has two siblings – a brother and a sister.
He grew up partly in the city of Lagos before immigrating to the United States with his family at age 11.
As boys, Papi Ojo and his brother Emmanuel loved to dance. They spend their free time learning and practicing new dance moves.
Some of these dance moves were spotted on the streets while some were discovered while watching TV.
Education
Papi Ojo completed her primary education at a top private primary school in Lagos.

Career
When Papi Ojo was older, he and his brother formed a three-person dance team with a friend, Caleb Bonney aka Ghana Boi. The dance group is called AVO Boyz. The acronym AVO stands for Africa’s Very Own.
During the short time the group formed, they appeared in many top music videos. They also work as dance instructors, training people interested in learning new dance moves.
Papi Ojo has had the opportunity to collaborate with top singers such as Janet Jackson, Teyana Taylor, A$AP Ferg and Big Sean.
He was also hired by Rihanna’s choreographer Tinasha Scott to teach her some dance moves.
Papi Ojo finally entered the international spotlight after he collaborated with Beyoncé on her album Black Is King.
He was part of the choreographers in Spirit and Had Video. In the following video, he is seen dancing next to the famous singer.
Thanks to his role in that music video, he got a new nickname, The Blue Man. Since then, he has landed more and better paying dance jobs as more artists want to work with him.
Besides dancing, Papi Ojo is also a musician. He started composing songs during his high school days and has released several singles.
